Some students opt to defer college enrollment for a year after graduating from bat365 to work, 出国留学, 或者做一个服务项目. Many 差距 year participants speak enthusiastically about what they gain through these experiences. 一些被普遍引用的好处是:

The learning that takes place in this year differs from a traditional academic experience. But in planning and living a 差距 year, students acquire invaluable skills for lifelong learning. Past 差距 year experiences include volunteering for political campaigns in rural Missouri, 在柬埔寨的援助机构工作, and teaching 英语 to the children of artisans in a village in 印度.
